À propos de cet audio

I’m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I’m Fae.

But of course there’s a catch–all I have to do to claim my birth right is prove that I’m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria. And sure, technically that’s true as I’m the daughter of the Savage King. But the bit they didn’t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could.

The school they’ve sent me to is both dangerous as sh*t and one helluva party. Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon and don’t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people’s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy.

Classes are totally interesting if you manage to live through them. And that Gemini star sign I mentioned? It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I’m going to beat down my classmates–which is actively encouraged by the way.

My biggest problem is the drool worthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell.

All I’ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas.

Dammit, why couldn’t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts?

This is a dark, bully romance–don’t go expecting a sweet school for magic with friends around every corner. Fae fight for everything they own and Zodiac Academy is a cutthroat school for students aged 18+ where only the strongest prevail. There’s no Dumbledore here to save anyone’s ass and Lionel Acrux will give Voldemort a run for his money in the evil dictator category. So hold onto your stardust (broomsticks not required) and get ready for a bumpy ride.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

The characters individual voices and sound effects and music really bring the story to life

Incredible

Lived the graphic audio.
A little bummed they changed Darius’s voice and Geraldine doesnt fit her cookiness. The dramatization was a great experience though

Love the Graphic Audio

Honestly don’t listen to the negative reviews. It’s what stopped me from buying this graphic audio for the longest time because I didn’t want an “old man” voice for the MMC… I disagree with peoples comments here. It’s a fine voice.. it’s supposed to be a slightly older person anyway as they are not supposed to be a teenager/YA like everyone else is supposed to be. But definitely doesn’t sound 70 lol more like 30s lol. It’s got a slight nerdy undertone but again, the persons role is a teacher lol so it makes sense. It did not bother me one bit and did not take me out of the story at all… I actually grew to like his voice. I’d say the story itself is a bit more cringe but it’s fun and feels like a CW show lol. There were times where the background music was a bit too loud but even then, I could still understand what they were saying and it didn’t happen too often. I would recommend getting the graphic audio if you’re starting the series. I had fun!

Recommend!!

I’m enjoying this series so far, however, I’m not enjoying some of narration. The graphic audio background music is loud and annoying. Orion’s voice makes him sound like a pompous ass and Geraldine’s voice also doesn’t match her description/personality. I love most of the character voices, based on other series.
Switched to the regular narration and both narrators play a dual role. Why?! It’s a bizarre combo.

Love the books, not so much the narration.

I've listened to this book 3 three times but different versions of it. The sound effects are so incredibly well done. This has been my favourite version so far. I love all the series, though. 😍 ❤️

Another Amazing Audio

A lot of the background music is like the same volume as the speaking so it’s really hard to understand and overstimulating. The mmc actors are questionable, I haven’t heard the og but this one makes them hard to like. Also the music choices are really weird sometimes and at weird times. Like when she is being sneaky it’s a loud funky beat with like 10 instruments. It is so distracting.

Music too loud

Love the story, have the original audiobook and have no issues with it. For some reason Graphic Audio decided to cast what sounds like a 70yo wizard to at Orion and Darius take you right out of the story when you know who they are supposed to be already. Stick to the original audiobook it’s waay better.

Casting of the MMCs is an interesting choice

Aside from the music the dramatized adaptations are waaaaayyyy better than the normally narrated books. I cannot listen to that male narrator. No nuance. Just talking in ALL CAPS no matter the mood being described. I docked 1 star for the random musical moments. Everything else was great and I loved the story. I’m excited to read more but I’m going back to book 0.5 to get some back story. 🫠 unfortunately with the male narrator who yell-talks.

I wish music wasn’t in dramatized adaptations

Usually Graphic Audio never misses with their casting choices but Darius’ voice actor is giving predator Lionel. It’s so disappointing because him and Tory are my favourite. Please change the voice actor for the next books to someone who sounds younger and less villainous like Caleb’s actor!

PLEASE RECAST MMC VOICES IM BEGGING

*I say the following with love and respect for those who take the time to create these masterpieces..*

But WHOEVER cast these men (specifically Orion and Caleb) can respectfully eat my shorts! What could have been an amazing introduction to this series, was diminished by the horrible casting for these two characters.

I physically couldn’t listen to Caleb and Tory’s banter and encounters because of how high pitched, oily and foul the timber of his voice was. I get that he’s a freak, but who decided to cast Steve Buscemi to play this 18 YO vampire? And don’t get me started on Orion!?! What, because he’s in his late 20’s early 30’s he has to sound like an ancient artifact? Hey Orion! Dumbledore called, he wants his sex appeal back.

Luckily, the story was captivating and I loved the writing. I will however, be reading the rest of the series. Hoping to god that I can get those unforgivable voices out of my head.

Who do I need to fire?
