  • Ep 26: Dr. Dona Biswas on "A new frontier of Quantum Psychiatry that can change the Newtonian approach in mental health sector"
    Feb 10 2021

Ever since I could grasp the ideas of different laws of physics, I was fascinated by Quantum Physics over Newtonian. becasue Quantum field looks at multi dimensional aspect of existence, whereas Newtonian physics is about cause and effect. A cause and effect cannot always suffice a holistic approach towards specific situations. We need to have the Quantum approach of belief system to understand our multidimensional selves. In this episode, I sat down with Best selling author of "The Quantum Psychiatrist", Dr. Dona Biswas from Australia to discuss her approach in mental health and psychiatric field of medicine.

Dr. Dona Biswas specialised in Psychiatry in India, where she practiced for a number of years before moving to Australia. After gaining her Fellowship in Australia, she worked in several reputed public hospitals in Sydney, before moving into her own private practice at Blacktown. While in private practice, she realised the limited impact that conventional psychiatric treatments were having on her clients' lives and began to train in several cutting-edge interventions to help her clients. She has gained expertise in modalities like neurofeedback, eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), emotional freedom technique (EFT) and RESET therapy among others and integrates these modalities with conventional treatments in her practice. She is also an experienced energy healer, being a Reiki Master for more than 15 years and a Seichim Master as well. Her passion is to help people not only overcome their mental illness, but also encourage them to fulfil their untapped and unlimited potential. She works not only with clients with mental illnesses, but also with people who seek to improve their work performance, sense of wellbeing and find meaning in life.

  • Ep 25: One man's journey from traumatic past to a purposeful service with Dave Bell
    Feb 3 2021

On this episode I sat down with my friend Dave Bell, who is a police officer in Michigan. Dave and I go to the same CrossFit box( gym, for non-crossfitters) and last summer, after a workout session, when him and I got to talking about launch of my podcast and parenting coaching business, I quickly realized that his story needs to be shared.

A bit about the guest of this episode in his own words:

"I am a police officer in Michigan. I enjoy working out, traveling, hiking, snowboarding, watching sports and spending time with friends and family. My vision in life is to keep growing personally and professionally, to be able to connect with those who have faced trials by sharing my experiences, to find like minded people and establish good relationships (for example, Rish). I am still pursuing personal goals, physical fitness goals, financial and educational goals that I wouldn’t have thought possible without recognition of the trials I went through and acknowledging how they affected me."

  • Ep. 24: From juvenile centers to being homeless to build a million dollar business with Joey Zago
    Jan 27 2021

In this episode I had the pleasure of sitting down with Joey Zago, the owner and CEO of "The Carpet Guys". Being a resident Michigander, Joey "The Carpet Guy" is known to everyone. Just turn on the tv, and you will see Joey at least once popping up on your screen and saying hello. I have seen his story on local tv channels. And being part of a virtual event on social media, I got to know him and his stories from his post. And I knew I had to bring him on my show and learn from his wisdom of making mistakes, getting in trouble, being homeless and then finding purpose in his life. He also started a project called "The Glove" to help support local business. There are some episodes, you as a host want to listen and learn. This was one of those episodes for me.

His story is an inspiration. Inspiration not because of his fortune but his existential humility, kindness and a welcoming friendly smile despite surviving some of the darkest times due to his need for acceptance in society as a man.

And to top it off, he is an inspiration to the fathers who are raising kids as he is leaving a legacy of being a present and emotionally available father.

Go to Facebook and look up "The Glove" and like and subscribe that page. Support local businesses.

  • Ep 21: Why dads need to show up as real person with Jamie Bendall
    Dec 24 2020

In this episode, I sat with Jamie Bendall who is a father, an attorney, a famous comedian, businessman, youth coach, planning commisioner and owner of Atlanta's famous comedy club The Punchline. I got to know Jamie from one of my favorite podcasts I listen to "Dad The Best I Can" hosted by Rob Roseman.

Jamie, is a father to 3 amazing girls who may be the reason for Jamie's success in stand up comedy. Jokes aside, in this episode, Jamie shared his life and his wisdom of being a dad and a man wearing so many hats and how we as men and dads can seek out our reason to do good and be vulnerable with our fellow men.

Jamie and I kept jamming even after this we stopped the recording of this podcast and the offline discussions were also filled with so much wisdom, that I can only keep sharing and follow his lead as a new dad to share the legacy of fatherhood.

As Jamie said it " even if this podcast stops, the lessons are and will be on this platform for years to come"

This episode Jamie shares his experience as a youth coach and how we as dad can help our kids to find their passion and how we as men can find our community where we can be vulnerable and be ourselves.
