    Dec. 14, 2025 ~ The SASHA Center is a Black woman-led, culturally specific sexual assault healing agency based in Detroit. They provide peer-educational support group services for self-identified experiencers of sexual assault and center the lived experiences of Black women and girls in Southeast Michigan and beyond. Gathered Words contains poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction by women writers from the U.S., Canada, and Scotland—all members of The Writers Community, an international group writing coach Lynne Golodner founded during the pandemic to connect writers virtually and encourage them to share their voices.
