Children of the Wild

Bram Stoker got it wrong. For millions of years, a rogue meteor hurtles through space toward Earth, glowing from the vast fields of radiation through which it has passed. A primitive human female gazes in wonder as the burning invader hurtles toward the ground, unaware of the great beast stalking her. All three meet in an instant. Flash forward to the present, yes, she is still here. She has always been here, in the shadows, ready to strike from the darkness with gleaming fangs.

For long ages, the Children of the Wolf have managed to remain hidden, but the modern world has found them. Hunted and captured by a criminal mastermind, only a precious few remain free. Helpless to aid their captured kin, they turn to the Vampire king and the saber tooth tiger who serves him for help. However, this demented man may just be too much even for the mighty vampires to overcome.

The vampire king's promise of sanctuary, a safe haven for all nonhumans, hangs in the balance. Reluctantly, he sends his youngest agent to retrieve and hide a maddened werebear. If she can't keep him out of the public eye, then all will be lost, and she's not doing so good. The bear is elusive, savage, and on a killing spree. If the humans find out about nonhumans, they will hunt them into extinction.

He's a young man coming into his own. He's also a werewolf whose alpha nature is rising. She's an older woman coming to terms with a major life change. She knows she has to deal with him, and she knows she shouldn't, but she finds herself falling for the guy. It's never easy.

Something evil has haunted a ghost town in the mountains of Oregon for a long time, few if any who visit that town return alive. The Hawk and Wolf lead a team into that forest to investigate, and there they find vestiges of an old evil. Even worse, treachery coming from within the team. Can they do the job? Can they even survive the savagery that comes at them? This mission will test them beyond reason.

Another non-human has appeared, but this mission will test both Igor and his beloved Lady Hawk to the edge, challenging both their skills and their bonds. The wolf mates for life, and Igor is the ultimate wolf, but will the Hawk remain true? Also, they are being hunted, but are unaware of the covert pursuit until almost too late.

A woman is taken, tortured, and suddenly Rhonda’s thrust into a position of command that she doesn’t want. What if she screws it up? What if it all goes wrong and blows up in her face getting everyone killed? She’s utterly terrified, and the man she depends on most just sits there waiting for orders. Will she succeed on her own or fail and bring ruin to all?
