They tell you that a parent's love is all consuming. I never put much thought into it. Not until the minute I heard her take her first breath. That little girl is my world. I'd do anything to protect her. My ex signed over her rights, and her family vowed that my daughter didn't exist. Now that she's gone, they want my little girl. They're trying to say I can't give her what she needs.

I always thought love was black and white. You meet the girl and within the first meeting you'd know if she's the one. You live happily ever after. My concept was a little off, but it worked for me. I don't waste my time with women I don't see a future with. The day I met Whitney, I didn't get hit with the love bug, nothing spectacular happened, at least not how I expected it to. She's everything. Everything I thought I wanted, and everything I never thought I would. Now that I've found her, it's time to build our future.

I had everything I ever wanted, living the dream, at least that's what I always thought. The night we met, we had an instant attraction, but she was with someone else.
