The Eyes of Freya

Freya Swenson is being pulled from the sea. As the rough hands lift her aboard, she looks around. The realization hits her. It is him, the man in her yearlong nightmare. He has her now, and like a fool she delivered herself right to him. A year ago, she was planning a future--her own fleet of merchant ships and her dreams to sail the seas like her father had taught her. Then the nightmares began after her mother's death. The trio of Freya, Leah, and Zeal are living in the Swenson Castle on the North Sea in Norway. Each day there are new unique challenges, for they are led by orders from Freya. Coming in from all over the world are the calls for help, some right in their own backyards. The family is constantly growing, as the need to find homes for so many abused children is answered with joy by the residents of Swenson Castle. Leah tries to adjust to the life, so different from her home in Virginia, as her past life calls, tugging at her heart: "Be careful what you ask for."

Freya's Army is growing in Norway and at her North American base in Virginia as Millison's five brothers go there to live as their father abandons them. Leah's daughter Shay has adjusted to her new life in Norway finally, after a rough first year of adjusting to life as an immortal. The family business is expanding, and it adds new challenges to the already hectic Swenson castle. All the while everyone is aware to be "careful what they ask for".
