Many years ago, a barrier was created between the mortal world and the realm of the gods, a barrier to ensure balance. But although the gods could no longer walk among us they could still choose to gift their powers to a chosen few. Some saw these gifts as a blessing. Most saw them for what they were…a curse. Cursed with a gift from the God of Death, and robbed of every person she has ever loved, Chiara lives only for destruction.
