The Hero Rises

After Dylan moves to Osaka, a strange interaction grants him the power to see demons and monsters from Japanese folklore. Burning with a desire to help the people being harmed by these terrible forces, Dylan finds an answer in the devastatingly beautiful and mysterious Ayane. Through her, Dylan learns there are more sinister and deadly monsters than anyone could imagine. Evil yokai have plagued Japan for centuries and the threat is escalating. But not all yokai are evil. Will his new-found power be enough to protect the innocents and vanquish the spawn of the abyss?

Dylan’s hands are full with fighting monsters from Japanese folklore, training to get stronger, and keeping the women in his life satisfied. However, Fumiko, his cat-girl lover, has been keeping a secret, and it forces Dylan and his companions to leave Osaka. Meanwhile, rumors of a betrayal, and a string of mysterious deaths, may dismantle the united front keeping Japan safe from the horde of unseen demons threatening it. With more yokai girls arriving, and the next oni attack imminent, will Dylan and his team be ready to take on the abyss?

Framed by the new master of the organization that he’s risked his life for, Dylan and his companions must prove their innocence before the Lord of the Abyss gains enough power to enter our world. In order to stay ahead of their pursuers, Dylan and the yokai girls find themselves in one of the most remote areas of Japan. While they’re hiding, the group finds themselves fighting an influx of monsters, infiltrating a death cult, and uncovering a sinister plot to destroy the Wheel.
