Ah, Nyil, with its magic, its monsters, and its petty gods. A divine spat leaves French medic Viv stranded in the middle of an arcane disaster zone crawling with undead horrors. Honestly its a great find.
I enjoy the characters, and world. from the looks of it we have many more coming and im excited to keep listening.
Performances are great overall.

The main issue of this book is its length. I normally won't touch a book below 10 hours, but took a chance here and did not regret the decision. MC is very interesting - mature, tough (not in body, but in will), and definitely not a crybaby, but still shows emotion, and the story moves at a brisk pace. This is definitely better than some of the 20-hour books that can only keep my attention half of the time.

I quite enjoyed this book.

The world is VERY interesting and definitely the biggest selling point for the story in my opinion.

The female characters suffer a bit from "a dude poorly writing women" trope at times, but I don't think it's so bad as to detract from the overall story for me at least. Just a minor annoyance that will hopefully get better as the books continue.

Performance is top notch as always from the Soundbooth crew.

It’s an amazing story and definitely scratched the itch of what could happen to a woman in a isekai situation. It’s a good story, and makes a beautiful, and sometimes dark story.

I have been reading this story for years, and it still makes me laugh and cry multiple times per book everytime I do a reread. And so I was quite excited when I heard Soundbooth theatre were the one doing the audiobook adaptation. And I have to say they did a marvelous job, Laurie is amazing and is now in my head solidified as Vivianne's voice, she has the attitude and grit the character requires as well as the wonder and wimsy that the story demeands, all the character feel more alive now and Solfis is... I have no words, shivers come over me in a few scene through a single word, despite the dificulty of pulling it off, I can not recommand this story enough.

It is everything I could have hoped for and more.
