Female MC, not exactly a battle maniac but does have a bit of crazy in the head (not a normal person), and I love this type of character. Another plus is that she is a mage and have to learn to play with magic without using any system-granted spells. The book reminds me a lot of Ararinth Healer without being a copycat.
