I tried so hard but the world building is lacking, the character building is lacking, the story is shallow and uninteresting. I would have loved this when I was 13.

the base storyline is so intriguing, however the characters feel very one dimensional with no depth. it reads very YA. if you are new to fantasy it is an easy read that is a nice introduction to world building.

Honestly this series got me good it was impressively written. It's a very wholesome series so if your looking for crazy and sad I dont recommend but if you like a completed, wholesome, enemies to lovers and betrayal then I would go for it.

This is a fun King Arthur story. While it has magic, it feels like a refreshing break from some of the more mainstream books. A must read if you like lore and unique magic. Amazing narrations on top of it all.
