Publisher's Summary

An Ufthak Blackhawk Audiobook

Ufthak Blackhawk reckons he’s in for it. Da Meklord has summoned him, and the Gargantsmasha just knows his boss wants to kick his teef in and be done with it.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

Ufthak Blackhawk faces the Drukhari in the teeming flesh pits of their dark city of Commorragh as he finds himself challenged to gladiatorial combat against the masters of pain.

THE STORY

Out of options, Ufthak leads his Waaagh! through the mysterious webway, to a place where kunnin’, sneakin’, and thinkin’ are the name of the game. A place with little truck for muscle and brawn – Commorragh, the Dark City.

Here, where kabals and haemonculus covens pump psychic viscera into the warp, Ufthak is thrown into gladiatorial combat and soon finds himself up against an archon who will stop at nothing to prove she deserves to rule the Dark City – even if it means bringing Commorragh down around her.

But the Drukhari are about to discover that while orks may be simple, very little about them is ever straightforward.

Eagerly awaited this one since it was announced. The dark eldar make great antagonists and the ork parts remain fun all the way through. Well worth the purchase!

Every race assumes Orkz are only az Kunnin' az Boyz

Mike Brooks has constantly used other factions assumptions on Orkz baseline intelligence as that of a common Boy against them. Excellent insight into how an Ork mind progresses from Boyz, to Nobz' to Boss's. Great writing on how 2 contridicting ideas can both be correct in their minds. All Boyz start off Brutal, but den' Kunnin' comes wit growf..which also makes em' moar Brutal. Luv da Mekz, luv da grots, luv da squigz and LUV UFTHAK ZOGGIN' BLACKHAWK. WAAAGH!!!!!!

Fun Read, Wonderful Narration

Ork books written by Mike Brooks are always a blast to listen to, more so when it is accompanied by a wonderful narrator breathing life into the characters and the story. Thanks to Harry Myers for this wonderful narration, can't imagine Ufthak having any other voice, WAAAAAGH.

Great performance and gripping story!

I love big dumb orcs and this story was great! Liked it even more than Brutal Kunnin’… much better “villains”; the Aeldari are just much more interesting to me. Great performance as well! LOVED Ufthak’s voice in this one and his development in this story is fantastic.
