Publisher's Summary
Juliette and Warner’s story continues in the thrilling fifth installment of Tahereh Mafi’s New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series.
Juliette Ferrars isn’t who she thinks she is.
Nothing in her world is what it seemed. She thought she’d finally defeated the Reestablishment. She thought she’d finally taken control of her life, her power, and her pain. But Juliette has only just begun to unravel a lifetime of lies, and she finds herself faced with a familiar choice:
Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.
This time, she’s not alone. Stronger, braver, and more resilient than ever, Juliette will fight for life and love with her friends by her side—but first, she has to survive the war being waged against her mind:
She has to remember who she was.
Narrated by Juliette, Warner, and Kenji Kishimoto, this gripping novel perfectly sets the stage for the highly anticipated forthcoming conclusion to the Shatter Me series.

Eh
Audio certainly made this book more enjoyable in my opinion but I did not enjoy it. Too many convient circumstances, bad pacing, and a dump of information in the latter half of the book.
Not a fan of the romance and little action. Certainly, some funny moments but I would not recommend this book. Wish I gave up at Ignite Me but I feel too invested at this point.

Nothing much happened...
Nothing much noteworthy happened in this volume. And I've forgiven the hundreds of plot holes in this story including the overly dramatic and whiny heroine. However, to reveal that the main villain from the previous books is actually alive and kicking is just,,, *face palm* There are many other plausible villains the author can use to develop the story further but to use the "old villain is still alive" cliche makes this continuation hard to stomach. Sometimes, it's best to keep dead people dead and move on!

WOW!! I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!! I NEED MORE!!
Holy moly wow wow wow!! THE WHOLE TIME!! THE WHOLE TIME?? This took a twist that I was not even expecting..and I am so fascinated with it!! I seriously need more asap!! Tahereh Mafi is amazing!! This book was really great, and it just flew by..I was so drawn in that before I knew it, it was over...Juliette and Warner are really lucky to even be alive after all that has happened to them...and all these other young people with supremes as parents...are all messed up to!! I think some really big stuff is about to go down and it's going to be insane!! I need a new book asap!! I 1 MILLION PERCENT RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!!

Second to worst in the series
It’s a shame books 5 and 6 were so terrible. The first trilogy was so incredible but books 5 and 6 kind of ruin the series. I liked this book better than 6 but 6 really destroyed the whole second trilogy. Had so much potential but plot falls flat.

I am not a romance fan, typically, it bores me terribly, but, i thoroughly enjoy this whole series, so far...
the romance part is, so, intimate, and, there is enough action, interest, and intrigue to keep me wanting more of the whole story... i think the perspectives chosen help the reader see the whole picture, and, how things are all intertwined...
also, i LOVE all the narrators!!!!!!!

Beautiful Backfill
This book was all about everything we missed about Juliette, or shall I say, Ella. I loved finding out about her REAL past. I literally felt like I was right there experiencing every heartbreaking realization she was coming as she started to remember everything. It all fits so well into the story. Normally I give up when a story will go back in time but all of this information made so much sense and added so much intensity to the book, I couldn't stop listening. It was all very well done and the narrator did a phenomenal job executing all of the accents and tones of voice. Can't wait to finally get to the finish line of the series in the next book.
