So, this is my first book by K.A. Knight, and "Den of Vipers" was something else… I didn’t quite know what I was getting into, but wow, she can write death and gore just as well as she can create beautiful, soul-searing prose. The violence borders on horror, and those anti-heroes? Real psychopaths, the lot of them.
The storyline itself was reasonably good, if a bit basic. What stood out for me were the four guys—Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel. Each has his unique personality, and together, they make an unconventional yet compelling group. The developing relationships between Roxy and her men were surprisingly sweet and intense, despite being majorly untraditional and intensively unique. Each man brings something distinctly his own to the table, forming a family—albeit a messed-up, psychotic one, but a solid, loyal unit nonetheless.
Even though this story was… I'm not even sure what word I can use to describe it! But I loved it! This was a great coming together of broken souls brought back to life, and well, I believe I might need therapy because I liked this so much!
