Ken and company embark on their first raid. Despite Ken’s powerful [Liminal Speed] not all the boss fights are accommodating and the Haylon raid party must learn to work together in perfect concert.

Why would they change the voice this far into the series? I would understand if the narrators were changed but it the same two. And man was I really start to like Jessica Freet as one of the top I've ever heard, considering all the characters she has and the rage she puts. Man ever the grandfather was awesome and now sounds weird. Makes it hard to keep up my character investment and now focus for the stories.

Not new narrators just new character voices. Not cool.

It was a great experience to actually listen to voice actors play the parts of the characters in the 7 books

It’s a great book to read but to listen to is even better. Because I actually imagine each person in the book.

Well the narrator change was a bit jarring still a great series I listened too the samples of the other 7 books and got used too, elves are Scottish sounding, Dez sounds less Spanish and the only one that got me was Grandpa lost his master Roshi flair. Excited for the next one and hope we get a full 16 book series!

after many books, all the voices have changed, idk if she got lazy or just didn't remember and didn't take cliffnotes but it's really hard at first still a good story tho buddy does a good job the chick pretty much the same voice for everyone...

Personally, since the main character is a set assassin, I think out of the two special trials, and after knowing about three of the special trials, it would make more sense for the main character to change his thing to what crimson has because with the one he has now he has to build up the speed and crimson doesn’t have to build up anything sure if not matching them currently all she has to do is turn it up
Now, if someone wanted to focus on dueling, I would say what crimson has and that green one red and green would make more sense
I don’t like the purple on all that much because it relies on a bunch of a weaker opponents being around for you to build up to the point where you can take down stronger enemy sure with enough buildup you can take down someone like Crimson, but they would have to underestimate you for that shit to happen a great deal or you have to slaughter a bunch of people before or at least beat the shit out of them
