I read this series a long time ago and it was great then. Longworth does an amazing job narrating this awesome novel. Long live the Tanith 1st and Only.

All hail Dan Abnett

I really like the Imperial Guard, the character building behind major characters and giving them a moment to shine made me care about what happened to them for the last third of the book.
And as always the narration was on point the who time

Well done

Dan Abnett is in top form as he gives us the origin of Gaunt's Ghosts and the strife his fighting men go through in a baptism of fire. No other writer I know brings a more human side to the war. 👍 Wonderful performance as well with distinct voices.

Gaunt continues to impress.
