Lala (Lauren) did an amazing job articulating her story through the VPRs decades. The back story to her youth also gives a lot of clarity as to how she has to have her two personalities to function in society. Her revolution of going into AA was honest and brutal.
We need a follow up now that life has changed for her and Ocean so much.

An amazing young woman with an amazing story, making her way through a tough world. Her open and honest share of personal life seasons only strengthens her and allows us into her journey and struggles and joys. Her amazing personality shines through, there is no question she is a lava cake! Sweet and lovely within, and strong, beautiful and powerful on the outside. Nothing about her or her personality needs repair… this girl is smart and destined for greater things. I loved her book. I think becoming a mom has perfected her even more, and will continue to do so. And yes I know I spelled cake wrong. It needed to be spelled special just like her:)

As some one who has lost a parent, struggled with drinking and trying to recover, this book resonates with me. It lets you know you're not alone and keep looking forward - it's a journey... and look at Lala today! truly inspirational and Lala does a great job narrating. Every time I got on my car to work I couldn't wait to hear the next chapter. Thank you for this book!

Inspiring and motivating

The biggest thing I can say about this book is that when you see the quote about “everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about” you can think of this, and remind yourself that we all have our demons. Honestly, I’ve always had a soft spot for Lala but I’d get frustrated at how deep the shade could be at times, but hearing her side & her heart, it makes a lot more sense when it comes to some behaviour & I’ve got that much more respect for her now. So happy you’ve found some peace and happiness in your life.

This book is amazing! I loved every minute of it. It had me on tears several times! Lala is such an inspiring woman! And I love that the audio book was read by Lala herself! You could hear the passion in every word! Thank you Lala. Thank you!!!

It was nice to find out about some behind the scene events from Vanderpump Rules. It was cool to hear what makes Lala herself. It was an emotional journey and she is a sober inspiration.

I listened to the entire book in one work shift. I have to say I didn’t have high expectations initially, but I was so wrong. I loved the behind the scenes vanderpump rules insight, as I’ve seen the series start to finish. Lala was a cast favourite of mine, which is why I originally downloaded this book. Had I known how deep she went into her personal life, I would have listened sooner. I’m very inspired and impressed.

Loved it... I've been watching Vanderpump rules since the beginning and it really got entertaining when Lala Kent arrived but it's even better after reading the book because you get a full insight into Lala and her life as Lauren and Lala loved it.

I've learned alot about lala after listening to her book always had massive respect for her just being her but after listening to this it amped up her on my ranking list by tons ! you could really heard the pain in her Voice as she's reading her book about the part about her dadd. I was also extremely close with my father and I bawled while I listened to it. You could hear the pain in her something. I related to completely as I lost my father after he won his first battle with 3 types of stage 4 cancer. To unfortunately lose him after twelve years of being in remission . always keep being ur baddie u lala ur such a queen 👸

I've always loved lala but this brings my respect for her to. a whole new level
