Horrible Narrator ! Preview first!
Ugh.. I struggled with this. I'd just finished Hopeless and couldn't find this one close by in physical copy so decided to go with the Audible. I had the HARDEST time with the narrator. He does not sound at all like a teenage boy or young man. Sounds like a middle aged more femine man. It almost ruined Holder for me. That said, I pushed through as I didn't want to waste the credit. the story was decent but as others have mentioned, much of the same as the other book... I suspect if I was actually reading instead of listening I'd of gotten bored. Def not a fav.

Oh my gosh. This one from the MMC's POV? A masterpiece!
I loved this book so much & even thought I knew what was going to happen you got a whole new story from this one with the MMC's reactions and back story.
It was absolutely perfect and did such a good job of tying everything together.

Heard the same story twice
Heard the same story twice without much extra detail from Deans perspective.
It also threw me off the hear the narrator have such a feminine voice for such a manly character.

alot of repeats
The short chapters are too much and pretty much a complete copy of the 1st book. but from H point of view. it is alot of repeating of what was already read in the first book .
