About this listen

Hugo Award Winner for Best Series

The fifth book in the NYT best-selling Expanse series, Nemesis Games drives the crew of the Rocinante apart, and as they struggle to survive, the inner planets fall victim to an enemy's catastrophic plan.

A thousand worlds have opened, and the greatest land rush in human history has begun. As wave after wave of colonists leave, the power structures of the old solar system begin to buckle.

Ships are disappearing without a trace. Private armies are being secretly formed. The sole remaining protomolecule sample is stolen. Terrorist attacks previously considered impossible bring the inner planets to their knees. The sins of the past are returning to exact a terrible price.

And as a new human order is struggling to be born in blood and fire, James Holden and the crew of the Rocinante must struggle to survive and get back to the only home they have left.

Nemesis Games is a breakneck science fiction adventure following the best-selling Cibola Burn.

This is a great continuing story of the crew of the Rocinante. I don't normally enjoy it when teams split up, but the individual plot lines make a great cohesive story. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

As good as the previous books.

Loved the fact that it follows each of the crew members instead 8f just holden and a bunch of new characters.

Best one yet

Cant believe that this series is coming to an end. I hope they answer all my questions by the end of it. Until then I'll continue loving the characters in the series.

The TV show doesn't do this series justice!

It’s hard not to be hooked after this book. So many twists and big moments. Jefferson Mays also was amazing (as always).

Great performance and a riveting story! The authors really built the characters as fully rounded and complex real people with ambitions, anxieties, skills, and hope for their futures. Excellent!

Doesn’t disappoint!

I don't know how to write a review for this. These books are a masterpiece and if you've listened to the others, you probably know that and aren't reading this, cause you don't need a recommendation.

Excellent

I really love this series. For long drives nothing beats listening to audible audio books. #Audible1

Great story

This was my favorite book in the Expanse series so far. I really enjoyed how the story was told from the perspective of the 4 main characters from the other books, and that we encountered some returning characters as well. I found learning about each character's backstory was engaging, and there was a good amount of action keeping me an the edge of my seat. overall, I'm really excited to see what comes next.

Best Expanse book yet!

I have read the first few books and also have listened to a few. great story and a decent narrator.

I would suggest 1.25 or 1.5 speed. The narrator pauses an awful lot. speeding it up helps. this is not enough to take away a star.

a must read/listen. For the entire series.

Zuch a great space story!

The narration is spot on, similar to the show itself. Book 5 is an amazing story by itself and Jefferson's narration complements it greatly. Moving on to book 6!

Amazing all around
