Her parents were to blame for this poor girls life. She didn’t stand a chance. In the end all her fight was gone. Living with her pain both physically and emotionally got the best of her. May her soul now RIP.
Excellent account of what happened during her Virginia’s life and what she went through and fought for. Couldn’t put this book down.

It was incredibly sad and painful to go through this memoir. But it is also incredibly important to do so. To face the reality of abuse and its devastating consequences.

My heart breaks for Virginia and the fact that she didn’t make it. May this book act as a warning and a beacon.

It's very sad that Virginia endured so much and took her own life once she was 'free'. I guess she was never truly free from the damage done. Everyone should read this story and then fight to hold those responsible and active participants in the abuse of these young girls accountable. It's a shocking eye opener.

My only complaint of the audiobook is the narrator. I found her voice to be hard to listen to. It felt forced, unnatural and childish. I wanted to take in every word, but also wanted it to end so I didn't have to listen to her anymore.
