I finally have the life I always dreamed of. So, why does it taste like ash on my tongue?
Growing up in Torma, the strongest of the shifter packs, I wanted nothing more than to find my true mate and live my best life. Of course, that dream existed before my father betrayed the pack and turned me into their punching bag.
I’d all but given up, until a quirk of true mate genetics gifted me a true mate like no other. My childhood dreams were finally a reality. Funny how quickly dreams turn into nightmares.
I’m being lied to, missing weeks and months of time. Someone messed with me, and no matter how often I’m told to forget it and move on as Torin’s mate, there’s no way I can. Whoever did this to me should have known I’d pick at it until it bled. It’s my nature, after all.
As I search out random growls, flutters in my chest, and a suspicion that there’s so much more going on than I could even imagine, I sense that I’m racing against an unknown clock.
I need to get to the bottom of this mystery. And when I figure out who stole my memories, they’re going to wish they never messed with Mera Callahan.

Love this series!
Leading lady is kickass and I love her inner commentary style.
The narrators do a great job at infecting the vibe and drawing you in and if you enjoy steamy, lose your train of thought sex this hits the spot without going too vulgar.

Amazing 3rd book!!! stealing all your attention.
This installment was awesome. We learned so much and it was an crazy roller coaster of emotions and really had my hopes and wants for the story flip flopping between harsh and leniency for people who had done bad things. Really pulls on all the feels.
I hope there is more to this story as there is so much history and drama that was mentioned but never quite explained.

Long way to end the story
I keep finding the main female character more Tom boy than a sexy bad ass which I believe was the intention of the book.
The narrator for male and female was very good. The male I felt lost a bit of the accent in this story which lost the hotness appeal.
The main character starts her journey in trying piece her past. Finally gets a lucky break by chance getting her memories and then finding shadow beast. The whole thing wasn't steamy and the parts that were felt repetitive?
The vilian was good but too strong compared to hero's. Meh. I rather more know about her firend Simone and her steemy guy. Or Angle and her drama.

Great story and characters
I've read a lot of shifter stories and by far this one is my favourite. With a strong heroine and complex, interesting world this story grabbed me in and kept my attention for all 3 books. Definitely looking forward to enjoying more of Jaymin Eve's stories.
