Tragic, heartfelt murder mystery
Some Choose Darkness, written by Charlie Donlea, grabbed me from the get-go! I love how Donlea takes you back and forth chronologically. The characters were relatable and well-rounded. In all, this was a tragic, heartfelt murder mystery, that I definitely recommend.

Loved the unique and suspensfull plot. Dividing the story in Books made the complex story easy to follow.

A bit predictable
Enjoyed the story but this is the first Charlie Donlea book in which I figured out the mystery pretty early on. Didn’t stop me from listening though

5 stars all the way!
This is my 3rd book by this author and I am officially a fan! I didn't want to put the book down; it really kept me intrigued from beginning to end. Having said that, I was laughing because just before I started listening to it, I was thinking that one thing I like about his stories, is that they are not repetitive and this one definitely is. However, that does not ruin the book.
I am not crazy about how the storyline ended, didn't expect it so that's good, but not crazy about one important detail for Rory.
Great performance!! I really like Nina Alvamar.

Guys perspective:
34yr male reviewer - really good, you won’t be disappointed and you’ll be taking the long way home to to soak up a few extra minutes of this great audiobook. Or great road trip audiobook.
If you haven’t read The girl Who Went Missing then I’d start with that to hook you on this champion author. He’s a great writer and the narration is perfect for this one, even at 1.3x speed.
