Story
Life revolves around learning—in school, at our jobs, even in the things we do for fun. Yet learning is often mysterious. Sometimes it comes fairly effortlessly: quickly finding our way around a new neighborhood or picking up the routine at a new job. In other cases, it’s a slog. We may spend hours in the library, yet still not do well on an exam. We may want to switch companies, industries, or even professions, but not feel qualified to make the leap.

A tender, powerful, and achievable path to the everyday resiliency we all need to navigate the uncertainty in our lives. An inspiring new voice in resiliency, Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe believes that our modern conception of resiliency as “fighting” or being “tougher” is misguided. Learning happens when we are able to trust and feel safe; fear and shame are barriers, not facilitators, for authentic growth, acceptance, and change. Dr. Robyne maps out a kinder approach to taking on the challenges of life and developing authentic self-alignment and balance.

Story
It's not you; it's your schedule. Does it sound like magic? It's not. We've all heard of circadian rhythms - those biological processes that give us jet lag and make us night owls or early birds. But few of us know just how profoundly these diurnal patterns affect our overall health. Bad habits - like skipping meals, squeezing in workouts, working late into the night and then trying to catch up on sleep during the weekend - disrupt our natural cycles. A growing body of research on chronobiology reveals just how sensitive the human body is to these rhythms all the way down to the genetic level.

A gem for self improvement!
I am so glad this book was written. Started the self improvement mindset/lifestyle a couple of years ago and I truly appreciate the quality of the content.
The book tackles things like purpose, mission, life goals but bundled with methodology to sort yourself out, doesn't matter what stage you are st!
This book covers the why (science) the how(practical methods) and raises the bar. In addition the narrative is great.
I feel like I put together a puzzle I didn't know I had the pieces to. This book is packed with knowledge and I will be listening and going back to it over and over. Def worth a hard copy too.

Truly a one-stop guide to achieving EVERYTHING you desire!
This book and Steven Kotler’s work have changed my beliefs and perceptions of what is truly possible for any person to achieve. As a wellness and performance coach I have taken what I was already applying to my own life and amplified it by 1000! There were so many connections made and gaps filled to enhance my understanding of HOW to take the necessary actions to enter a flow state more consistently and effectively. I can’t recommend this book enough for anyone who wants to become unstoppable and actually erase any limitations they perceive to exist- read this book and you will understand those limits were never real.
