This was my first book by John Marrs, but not my last! In fact, I’ve bought two more since finishing this book (one on here, and one physical book). I really enjoyed this one, although I would only rate it 4.5 stars instead of 5, since it requires *some* suspension of reality. But overall, this captured my attention from the very beginning and kept me wanting to keep listening every minute! And when it was done, I had one of those “book hangovers”, you know what I mean! The narrators were absolutely fantastic as well, in my opinion, especially the two brothers, as well as the main character. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this one (and John Marrs in general)! Happy reading! :)

This woman is absolutely nuts! i don't think I have ever despised a character so much and wished them ill will as this one. She is some kinda wicked. Amazing character development. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

There were some elements of this book that were incredibly well written and thought of. I just didn’t love the ending and finished it, and I felt irritated.
