John Sandford does it again.
I feel John Sandford has been growing Letty Davenport for years to bring her to what I hope is her first book independent of her dad Lucas Davenport. Letty is an action hero for the current millennium: tough, smart and unapologetic. I loved this book and look forward to meeting up with Letty again soon.

Excellent book.
Really enjoyed this book. Love the Letty flashbacks from her point of view. It helps that the narrator is a familiar voice from the Prey series as it adds to the feeling of continuity.

DUPED BY CANADIAN ACCOUNT
Careful when ordering books, Books purchased on the Canadian marketplace cannot be used in the US marketplace. Cannot combine libraries. Basically, it's two separate entities. Stay on the US marketplace much larger and more variety. I discussed this customer service and they were very happy to move your account and library from the US marketplace but not the other way around. sneaky in my opinion.

Vintage Sandford
Was looking forward to the first Letty book long before Sandford announced there would be one. Fast paced, exciting and gut wrenching at the same time. Can’t wait for the next book!

not bad - great gap filler
I would try again with another gap filler from this author. I struggled a bit with the overly dramatic narrator voice - and some of the mispronunciations took me straight out of the story. Overall, not bad.

A decent story
A realistic possibility of militia misguided thinking coming to life. A sad but realistic state of where we are.
