Publisher's Summary

Welcome to the long-awaited seventh novel of the best-selling saga by Aleron Kong.
The longest and best book ever recorded by Nick Podehl!

The Land: Founding, Book 1 of the Chaos Seeds Saga, reached number one in the Audible store in 2017!

A mesmerizing tale reminiscent of the wonder of Ready Player One and the adventure of Game of Thrones

Number one in epic fantasy, cyberpunk, and video game fantasy

In The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. With core buildings, Professional fighters, and now their own Dungeon, the settlement is primed to grow into a kingdom of true power and magic. The path to power has not been without risk, however. The Mist Village has been noticed.

Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village's destruction. The predators are circling. Richter's people are horribly outnumbered by foes whose own power has been entrenched for thousands of years.

Richter and Sion need to be stronger than ever before. Luckily, they are. New skills have been learned, stronger enchantments have been wrought, and the hundreds of villagers have answered the call to adventure. The Companions do not stand alone. While many eyes have turned toward the mists, wanting to take the treasures within, the Mist Village stares back with a simple message.

Come and get it!

Best book in the series

I have listened to this book maybe 4 times so far! Best LitRpg series I have found. Nick Podehl is master of the voice! Can do any voice imaginable, brings the story alive! This is a must for LitRpg fans!

not happy

only means of humor in the book series is using one liners from movies and TV series... the excessive use of the word rape in this book was disgusting, even devoting an entire chapter about savage rape which had no purpose in the story was beyond disgusting.. I can't bring myself to listen to or read another book by this author

I am hooked on this story series!

I love this series... it's full of action and adventure and crunchy stats and nerdy ridiculousness. I highly recommend checking out the Land... he warned there is occasionally some very graphic or uncomfortable subject matter... it's not always politically correct and occasionally you cringe when it's describing battle or torture... overall I really love the character development and the story arc... did I mention all the cool weapons and armor and spells and crunchy statistics? check it out!

Simply Amazing!

Yes, the skills "prompts" can be dry at times, but the story and character evolution is always exciting.

With a sarcastiscally delightful protagonist Victor and his party though, the humor will have you laughing before you know it. The overall scale of this volume is massive and not a minute goes by where you won't appreciate its length. Then, there is the Godoy voice acting. The life breathed into the character is astounding and truly sets this fantasy way over the top!

A must read!

Best series I've read all year!

My son introduced me to this book and I picked up the audiobook for a long work commute. The narrator is probably the best I've ever heard. The book itself is a combination of Piers anthony punny humor, world building, and a dude encountering a plethora of "oh crap" situations. I've read the series twice and don't plan on stopping. Well worth the time/cost.

I loved the fine detail, great descriptions, and amazing story line of adventure it kept me on my toes and constantly wanting more. I believe and hope that this story line can continue for at least 5 to 6 more books it has so much potential to grow and become even greater I can’t wait for more this is the most amazing book ever and I recommend it to all !!!

Leveling up his writing skills

Aleron hits his literary stride with Predators. He takes his time delving into character background and makes you feel something deeper for the people of the mist village. The dungeon expansion alone is a favorite I could read about all on it's own. Nick Podehl is the master of audiobooks! His mastery of all voices in The Land make this lengthy book 7 the most enjoyable so far. With the world building accomplished in Predators I expect even bigger events to unfold in book 8.

sooo tedious

better than the last few books in the series, but still irritatingly repetitive. juvenile humor aside, the mechanics of the book are what turns me off most. narrator is a complete superstar, though. very, very good performance.

A wild ride of emotions and innovative insults

If you are reading this, and are on the fence of whether or not is worth a credit, let me help you out, it absolutely is. Podehl is, as per usual, amazing at giving life to the characters and situations that Kong has created. This installment pulls no punches, it leaves the listener with an overwhelming sense of, “what next?!” Definitely worth the Value
