An okay listen

Passionate content. Should come with a Christianity advisory and the narrator should learn how pronounce the names of relevant historical authors that are referenced.

A One More Mindset Review

"The Power of One More" by Ed Mylett is a motivational self-help book that encourages readers to adopt a mindset of continuous improvement and to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives. Mylett draws on his personal experiences as a successful entrepreneur and motivational speaker to offer practical advice on how to achieve your goals and maximize your potential.

The book is organized into short, easy-to-read chapters that cover a wide range of topics, from setting goals and taking action to developing self-discipline and overcoming obstacles. Mylett uses personal anecdotes and examples from his own life to illustrate his points, and his writing style is engaging and accessible.

One of the strengths of the book is Mylett's emphasis on the power of small actions and incremental progress. He encourages readers to focus on making small improvements every day, and stresses the importance of consistency and persistence in achieving long-term success.

Another strength of the book is Mylett's emphasis on the importance of mindset and attitude. He argues that success is as much about mindset as it is about skill, and provides practical advice on how to develop a positive and growth-oriented mindset.

However, some readers may find the book overly simplistic, and may crave more detailed advice on specific topics. Additionally, some of the advice may be familiar to readers who are already familiar with the self-help genre.

Overall, "The Power of One More" is an inspiring and motivational book that encourages readers to adopt a mindset of continuous improvement and to strive for excellence in all areas of their lives. While it may not offer groundbreaking advice, it provides practical tips and strategies that can help readers achieve their goals and maximize their potential.

Great listen

Haven’t even finished listening yet but the first few chapters have been really eye opening. He’s explained the mind and how limiting beliefs become just that and how they hold us back. Can’t wait to see what else I learn about myself in this book.

A little too much religion

The amount of church/religion quotes are off putting. The last chapter was really moving though!

If you love cliches....

I listened to this book, and after 3 hours, I finally decided it was no longer my job to get value from the author.

Lots of famous quotes, lots of cliches, lots of enthusiasm, and it took me a while to figure out that there was not much 'there' there.

I rarely do NOT finish a book, and bailed on this one 20% in. Take that as you will for a review.

Random blah blah

Using examples of famous people, to fit into the title. You don't get more information than the title itself. After several days, nothing has left an impression.

So Very Disappointed

I was very excited to get this book. That is until I started listening to it. My first impression was can Ed go any faster over the material? Even after slowing the speed down just a notch, I still heard the same thing repeatedly. I will give him credit for reading his book. There were countless quotes from just about every Self-Help Author out there. Beyond that, I felt there was zero structure in what he was trying to say and where he was going. Ed just sounded like one big rant. Constant babel with not much substance. I would advise sticking to others like John Assaraf, Darren Hardy, Jim Rohn, Brian Tracy, Tom Hopkins, James Clear, Zig Ziglar, Les Brown, Mike Michalowitcz, Jeb Blount, Greg McKeown, and just about anyone else. I suppose my disappointment could stem from my anticipation after pre-ordering the book after joining his FB page, reading all the praise others about him, and watching some YT videos he was on. Like I said. I am "so very disappointed," and I'll be returning this book if possible. 😔

There are not enough stars for this review

This book says it all and the fact that Ed Mylett unapologetically honors God and his dad with his legacy...there is no man on earth, (except Ed himself), who can stop this book from profoundly impacting every living person who reads or listens to this book.

Love this book!

I really enjoyed this book. It really helps you see yourself. Really LISTEN to what Mr. Mylett says, you will find some part of you or your life in his words. He teaches well and explains his reason and thoughts for his teachings. I will definitely recommend this book to friends and family, and I will read it several more times.
