Publisher's Summary

New adventures in the Infinite Realm!

Zach and Ryun had both reached the Infinite Realm. As the only two survivors of the old Earth, they are the strongest Rankers that had ever arrived in the Infinite Realm. Both dropped outside of the usual arrival zone and left to fend for themselves. Each had found a way to survive. Ryun is now a Sect Head, tasked with ruling territories and people. Accepting their service in return for his protection. But while he was the strongest being on Earth, he is nothing compared to the old monsters living in the Infinite Realm. Will he be able to advance far and fast enough to catch up and protect the things and a few people that he had started to care for?

Zach had joined the Wardens, a faction that serves as a law enforcement for hire, seeing in them his best chance at learning more about the Infinite Realm and figuring out the best way to proceed. And perhaps eventually to find the monster that had taken everything from him.

love it

as much as I love this series my only complaint would be going over the character list over and over again. kind of feels like you're just patting the runtime.

Yeah Yeah we all like Ryun more....

I see alot of reviews on both the com and ca side giving bad reviews just because Zach isnt as great as Ryun. And i get it...Ryun is the edgy lone wolf tough guy who lost everything and is potentially on the path of redemption. The misunderstood underdog genius...all that jazz.
Zach is the talented rule following pretty boy, the popular kid, the boy scout. No one likes a goody two shoes. BUT. He is written REALLY well. Put aside your prejudice for a second and apreciate the BADASS that Zach is.

Because say whatever you want, the fact that he is a BADASS is undeniable.

His character traits and ideals are CONSTANTLY under attack in this book and his choices are allways interesting to hear. The confrontation between him and Ryun will be legendary and i cant wait.

Quickly Becoming My favorite book series

I read these last year and devoured them, couldn't put the books down, experiencing it in the audible format and revisiting these characters, battles, and developments is a real treat, I remember first reading this the Zach chapters drove me crazy, after reading book 3 and going through this again I enjoyed his chapters almost as much as Ryuns.

Can't wait for the next!

This book is great so much emotion. the joyed and sadness with Ryun and the hate about Zach. I don't like Zach but his part are much more easier to read than in the first book.

been pleasantly surprised with the series so far.

it feels like the main characters are forward thinking, ambitious motivated and like they understand what needs to happen, and try to fit everything else around that. I personally don't like it when characters in books make wildly dumb choices, completely illogicaly just to "fit a character narative" especially when the chara ter is obviously smart or in this series identified as "geneous". and I have to commend the Uthor cause he writes the characters to demonstrate making smarter choices. some people hate when the MC just gets all the good a stuff, but I love it, I love that every action has a chance to yield a reward of some kind!

Better in the second book

Zac isnt so bad most of the time.

But, Oh My Giggly Globs! I am so irritated by the seemingly endless character stat sheets! Way too long, way too often, I have to skip them now or risk my temper.

Great series but not a fan of this book.

There is way touch Zach on this and he is way to boring compared to Ryun. Also, slightly annoyed with how he powers up at the end...literally for no other reason than to keep up with Ryun...really hope he dies next book.

The story struggle at time

The narration was even better than the first book. Ok now that this is out of the equation, what happened? Two things mostly. First, Zach took the front and his story has been mostly developed to the detriment of Ryun. Even more, the story seems to want to give time to everyone nowhere but Ryun. At the very least we didn't have to listen to a Linda main story thank god. Second and not the least, the amount of time dedicated to the status window is absurd. At every corner you have to listen to 5 to 10 minutes of status window, and even of the nowhere characters out of the story.
Finally the last stretch of Zach story was pretty good, when you put aside the lack of Ryun.

I sincerely hope that the author will read this comment, because I will still buy the next book and hope for the best. To all readers, it's good book, but really not as good as the first one.

Can Zach Just Die Already

So much Zach, and he is the least compelling and most boring character that Ivan has created.

Loved the first book, this one is like a follow up to your favourite bands first album, and then they release the second and focus on all the stuff you didn’t enjoy about the first album.

Same same

Kill off Zach.

Absolutely amazing

This book had everything I could have wanted. The battles were amazing and brutal, the evolvements of all characters was spectacular and the ending was quite good. I can’t wait for my next credit to read the third book. This series is a definite reread too. So much action and also betrayal. I’m very excited for the next one. Ivan Kal is a genius
