    After years of severe pain in his foot, Jamie Gane underwent spinal surgery. It was supposed to relieve him of the pain, but it didn’t. Instead, he ended up paralysed from the waist down.


    Devastated, confused and angry, he felt alone. And, he was still living with the unbearable pain in his foot. After 13 years and 40 operations, Jamie’s leg was amputated. He was finally relieved of the pain and finally able to walk. But all he wanted to do was run.

    While at school, Flora Beverley exercised for the wrong reasons and developed an eating disorder. It floored her emotionally and took its toll on everything in her life. Her friends, family, school and sports.
