    After relocating to Salisbury with his fiancé (now wife) Abby, Chandler began working for the Salisbury Post in November 2022. Initially, he worked covering education and several municipalities in Rowan County. After nearly a year on the job, he took over editorial duties following his predecessor’s departure.

    A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he has spent most of his adult life reporting for various news outlets in the Volunteer and Tar Heel states. A love of music took him to Nashville, but a love of his better half brought him back to her home of Salisbury.


    In this episode Chandler shares a few stories of his past, what it's like being the Editor of the Salisbury Post, along with a super special announcement of what's to come!

    Meet Jordan Kolod. She opened Afton Tavern in Concord, NC with her mom in November 2010. They expanded to Afton Pub & Pizza in August 2013. She purchased Afton Pub & Pizza from her mom in 2022. At Afton Pub & Pizza they take pride on quality and fresh ingredients, they have a team they treat like family, and Jordan's main goal in life is to feed people. She's been working in the restaurant industry for 18 years. She has 3 kids; Marley, Alex, and Theo and in her words: "the best husband on earth, Nick".


    In this episode Jordan shares about her restaurants program called "Pub it Forward" and how they are helping feed people in their community. This program is an amazing opportunity for the community to come together and support each other, while feeding people who need help.
