I don’t remember “Love Me Do” the first time around, although it did go to number 17 in the charts in December 1962. I remember their second release “Please Please Me", which went to number one in February 1963. I thought it was okay, but it didn’t knock me out. Their third release “From Me to You” hit the spot and from that moment, I was completely hooked on The Beatles. Thanks to the influence of The Beatles, I have been a professional musician for over 50 years, and their catalogue of songs remains the soundtrack to my life.
