Q: What has two eyes (usually), a practice sword, and no clue? A: A noob. And a horde of them are coming to ruin Devon's day. Freshly returned from the underworld, Devon Walker has a major task ahead. A demon army is coming, and she must prepare Stonehaven for war. But no amount of fortification will allow the small settlement to hold against the coming horde. For Devon's followers to survive, she must retrieve the final relic of Ishildar and wake the ancient city's power.

Only, this time things didn't go as planned. This time, as I was delivering my criminals to be placed in the Abaddon Asylum, everything fell apart when an uprising tore down the system and led to my ship exploding before I could get out of there. Now it's up to me and some sexy lady allies (and then some!) I've teamed up with along the way to put things right. But we're not just going to stop the uprising. Our mission goes much deeper than that, into the planet itself where all manner of horrors await.

Success beyond my wildest dreams? Too bad I wasn't able to fully enjoy it. No time to sit back and watch the fame roll in when you're being hunted by superpowereds and a private military force. Still, everything was going according to plan. Grace, Veronique, and I were headed south. Our target? The secret government facilities scattered across the country. The second installment of Mutants in the Making was nearing completion, ready to be published any day now. Things were tense, but all was well. I wish they would have stayed that way....

Now that the litRPG world of the Citadel has chewed Adam up and spat him out, he’s right back at his original Save Point. Are things better? Maybe. Maybe not. For one thing, he's still got brain cancer. For another, he’s in trouble for breaking the rules last time. As punishment, he’ll have to mentor the Colony - an outnumbered race of misfit mushrooms on the losing side of a battle for their home planet.
