Seventeen-year-old Layna is a Uniter, a guard, a former soldier, a former constable. She is a highly capable girl in a world where the first Paranormal War left the country torn. It is no longer the United States of America, but the Regions of America. The military has taken over the government and paranormals are either imprisoned, or hidden away. But the Naturals are now under Maria’s control, and her plan appears to be the annihilation of the Regions of America.

She has to find a way to escape, meet back up with Miles, stop a psychopath, and save the world. All in a day’s work for her.
