The narration was outstanding. Dark MM step bro story. Not for those who want warm and fuzzy HEA. There is a LOT of violence. Chaos. Abuse. Drugging. I didn’t see the dad drama being so pronounced. The ongoing, never ending jealousy was sad. Overall loved this tho !

That is was twisted. Utterly filthy. Loved it.

So yeah. They weren't kidding when they said this was dark. The list of trigger warnings is probably long and so this is definitely not for everyone. This book also contain some MF spice moments and I know some MM readers freak out when that happens so be warned, I guess.

But for my part, I know that story and these characters will remain with me for a while, as it made a very strong impression. There is SO much raw emotions and open wounds and healing. A great arc to witness, even if the writing is a bit all over the place sometimes (did we really need a 3-minute Jackson POV?) and the subplots and secondary characters didn't always mesh perfectly, I know I'll listen to this again in the future.

Also: absolute top-notch narration. Unbelievable work by both of them.
