Outclassed. Outplayed. Outmatched.

After our humiliating defeat at Cyanide, Alastair left us shamed and shattered.

We lost.

But with our resources at a desperate low, new players making dangerous moves, and my brutes on the offense, I know I need to change the game. The last time I tried my hand, I made mistakes that nearly cost us everything—but I’m not the same hesitant little pawn I once was, and I’m not hiding behind my fear anymore.

This time, it’s my board.

The Sinners and the Reapers are in position.

The queen and her kings are in play.

But we need a better strategy—because if we can’t become the family Jasper always promised me we could be, then we might lose more than just our home at Bristlebrook.

We might lose our chance at forever as well....

NOTE: Entwined is book 3 of 3 in this trilogy. This trilogy is COMPLETE.

The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy romance trilogy, and Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my listeners’ nerves. Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, queer love, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some readers may find sensitive.

This book is a big gal at over 258k words and deals with a lot of heavy content. I promise it gets brighter as it goes on (you know...mostly). Please see my website for TWs—your mental health matters.

Highly recommend! Dark romance! Apocalypse chaos and survival!
I love the survival tips before each chapter (however there are a few repeat numbers in the last book)
Yes this review will be for all the books in this series, not individually because pfft! Who has time for that?!
The BDSM is … chef’s kiss! Wish there was more chapters of just Lucky and Jasper. Maybe one chapter could have been the entire group, if you know what I mean. But some people get a little squeamish when M/M is involved. Yes! There is M/M content! Oh no! Beware! Might bite your pearls off! Hold them tight!

The twist’s are good, you don’t see them coming for the most part. Never trust a smile or eat what the captives make for food.

Great read

I'm going to preface this with I loved this trilogy & would recommend it.
however this book could have been done with as much impact & not missing any plot in half the time. the plot was drawn out & I got exasperated with some repetitive chapters, the spice was fabulous, the guys are awesome, live them all...

excellent addition

I cannot recommend these audio books enough. The voice acting is phenomenal. Each performance is distinct, full of depth and really brings the characters to life.

Rebecca Quinn’s writing is also top notch. I was genuinely not expecting to be so charmed and delighted by these flawed but lovable characters and their found family feels.

Also, so, so hot. I can read some absolutely depraved smut in public without skipping a beat but these audios had me kicking my feet and blushing. So deliciously nasty it feels almost illegal to listen to 🥵
10/10 would recommend.

Refreshingly well written adult characters and phenomenal voice acting.

Fantastic story, all star duet narration cast. The only critique I have is with the absence of Joe Arden voicing Beau it became tedious at times determining when Lucky was talking and Beau was. At times, JF Harding (absolutely nothing but love for him) did not capture the southern spin of an accent for Beau. So yeah, missed Joe in this one. And I wish after everything in the last 3 books the epilogue was more substantial than a sex scene. I mean it was good but I was hoping for more of a pretty ribbon at the end.

Duet, Incredible Cast! 5/5

Chapter 67 21:58:49 pissed me off so bad I had to take a break. Both predictable and infuriating that Eden went that route.

Good
