I felt like Cole and judged Hawke and said I'm in my bad boy Era but clearly I judged him by his appearance until Chapter 38 hit I came to the realization and the emotion that they both do during that emotional scene was so heart breaking! My first book to read/listen to by Jescie Hall and I'll definitely be back to check out more!

I absolutely loved this book! I’ve seen so many people talking about how great Jescie Hall is and now I get it. The duet narration of this book felt so real like I there for it all.

In the beginning Nicole is dating Patrick. Plain boring old Patrick, who

Love love love a tortured broken man. There were so many times that Hawke just broke my heart. His vulnerability, his broken pieces that he shares, his complete lack of love in his life. My heart just broke for this man.

Cole and Hawke together were 🔥. The angst and chemistry between them was off the charts.
The way he becomes so protective of her. The enemies to lovers trying to deny their attraction

I teared up at the motor cycle scene at the end.
Loved the bonus scene

Patrick gaslighting and emotionally abusive

Okay the narration on this was it 🔥🔥 Joe Arden is one of my favorite male narrators. His voice is just 🤤 I absolutely love when audiobooks are done in duet narration. I feel like it just adds so much more reality to the book.
