I'm a board certified family physician who has served the needy in the south side of Chicago for my entire medical career. I've made over 25 medical mission trips to developing countries in Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean. However, I'm most famous for my portrayal of the character “Shang Tsung” in the very popular video game, “Mortal Kombat 2” (MK 2). This game has garnered a diverse community of male and female gamers, including the young and the not so young. Mortal Kombat 2 has maintained popularity in all areas of the world for over 25 years, since filming the role in 1993. My continual involvement with the Mortal Kombat community has earned me fans across every continent. The initials, “M.D.” stand for “Medical Doctor.” In my case, these letters can also stand for many other aspects of my life: Multi-Dimensional, Motivator and Disciplinarian, Mentor and Disciple, Missionary to Developing countries, Multilingual Devotion, Music and Dance, Marriage and Divorce, Mindful Dad, Marvelous Daughter, and possibly more. I could be considered a “jack of many trades and a master of a few.”
