Description
Mountain lions are viewed as a charismatic symbol of the West, but when human populations expand closer and closer to the natural habitat of these big cats, life can get complicated for both humans and animals. Similarly, growing populations of Giant Canada Geese in Minnesota and deer in the Northeast are having an impact on communities in those areas. Despite having different opinions about how to solve the issues these animals present to human populations, people are coming together to find solutions. Producer Loretta Williams visits three geographical regions that are increasingly affected by wildlife populations to find out what people are willing to protect, and in some cases, what they want to be protected from.
