I fought the urge to DNF this book repeatedly, because the narrator pronounces vampire "vam-peer."

There's a lot of smut and not so much plot. Nothing wrong with that if that's what you're after.

I went into this book blind. I love this author, but I've never heard a fantasy of hers. This was included. Tor Thom and Stella Hunter are among my absolute favorite narrators, so I thought I'd try. I was not disappointed!

This is about a vampire that ends up with seven very complicated vampire mates. I don't want to give too much away and ruin the story. The narration is beyond brilliant. There are so many distinct characters, they are all interesting, wonderful, and completely perfect for each one. All the characters are lovable, so charming. K.A. writes amazing characters, spicy scenes, and emotions.

This wasn’t her very best book. I'd give it a 4.5🌟 4.5🌶.
If you like vampire fantasy, with a bit of monster, I would highly recommend. I definitely would give it a try regardless if you like spice.😏 You have nothing to lose with a subscription.

I like a bit of sex or smut and love a good vampire story. This is so orgy focused the story gets lost. Having a hard time finishing.

Is it bad to imagine a world without any restraints like this, if you get what I am thinking here. I loved that she gave time to each one and they both gave eachother what they needed to heal and feel accepted. Beastiality was at a different level here, and it was actually pretty hot. Why thank you for this series!

this would not be for everyone but damn....none stop freaking spice 🤦‍♀️and the narration was fire

This storyline had great potential, however it was so smut-heavy that there was virtually no plot movement. The backstory on each of the characters made them loveable, but the journey of them overcoming their struggles was so effortless that it didn’t feel very deep. Even the plot conflicts were resolved effortlessly. If you’re looking for something spicy and don’t care about plot, this is probably it.

The audio performance: The male audio did not do it at all for me. I found it to be very expressionless and “factual”, as though he was reading an essay opposed to a book. It also drove me nuts how he would narrate Reve’s chapters in an American accent, then speak Reve’s lines in a Scottish (Irish?) accent, then return to the American accent. I feel like he has to either commit to the entire character chapter in an accent or not.

Overall this wasn’t my favourite.

Loved the storyline, it wasn't a deep story but enough that it wasn't complete sex lol. But man this was a dirty dirty dirty book and I was all there for it! So if you do not want to hear sex scenes between one woman and 7 men then this book is a no go! Now if you are like me and the reviewer who I follow and love super spicy books then I can guarantee that you will absolutely love this. BTW this is not NSFW probably not even safe for anywhere but someplace where you are alone. Wink wink!

I am coming to the conclusion though that I prefer duet or graphic as the male narrators doing Altheas voice was just not a good thing and at times it was hit or miss for them both doing other voices. But this is a learning curve for me, nothing against the narrators as a whole because this is one incredibly spicy spicy book and had to be difficult to do at times.

Can't wait to delve into the next KA Knight book!

If you love vampires, you love a good spicy story or should I say extra spicy, this is for you. How about one baby female vampire that loses her life but is given another chance and must join 7 elder vampires that execute vampires that goes against their own and that those 7 vampires are all hers to do has she pleased….then yes this is definitely for you.
