À propos de cet audio

As Trump escalates the crackdown on student activists, recently expelled and fired Columbia student Grant Miner joins the show to discuss the growing resistance. Miner, president of the Student Workers of Columbia-UAW, was fired just one day before UAW contract negotiations with the university were set to begin, and just days after ICE agents abducted Columbia student Mahmoud Khalil. “The movement isn’t stopping. Students are more fired up than ever. They think playing dirty will stamp it out– but it won’t work,” says Miner. Now, he’s joining thousands in Washington, DC, on April 5 to protest the targeting of students who have been standing with Palestine. “We need to show Trump that Americans won’t stand for people being abducted in the service of arming a foreign genocide and apartheid state.”
