I thoroughly enjoyed every story in this well-rounded collection which confirms, among other things, that there still are beguiling new mysteries to tell, even in 2025. I kept anticipating using fast-forward to pass along to the next story, as I do with most anthologies, but I never felt the need to skip a thing. The two immensely talented narrators carry the weight of the entire anthology with aplomb. My only disappointment is that I already have the final 'bonus story' in another anthology, so for me those 90 minutes are a waste. I would have purchased this book regardless, because I am hooked on the series, but I would prefer the editors identify their bonus story without forcing the reader to buy the book to find out what it is.
