À propos de cet audio
An indulgent journey through time, The History of Visual Communications Through My Lens blends the sweeping arc of innovation with the author's own firsthand experiences. From military communications to boardrooms and broadcast studios, this narrative captures not just the technologies that transformed how we connect—but also the personal encounters, stories, and milestones that bring that history to life. Along the way, it introduces the visionary figures—past and present—who didn’t just witness history, but foresaw it, shaped it, and made it happen.
John Copeland is a writer, technologist, public speaker, and recognized thought leader at the intersection of innovation and human connection. With an MBA and certifications including AVIXA CTS, CompTIA ITF+, and advanced credentials in generative AI from Databricks and Writing.io, John brings both technical fluency and strategic insight to his work.
A former Cisco CCNA, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Texas Digital Learning Association (TxDLA) and the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), and is an active member of the AVIXA Diversity Council.
John’s career spans military service, enterprise broadcast, and immersive technology, with a current focus on helping global organizations transform physical spaces into powerful, experiential environments. This book reflects not only his deep expertise in visual communications but also his passion for the people and pioneers who made it all possible.
