Genesis 12:3 is a foundational scripture for non-Jews, Christians, to be a blessing to Israel, and for Israel to be a blessing to the families of the world. It’s reciprocal, a formula, albeit parallel. But it’s also sometimes overused, and done so in ways that are transactional, even manipulative.
