The story is absolutely exceptional; beautifully written and engaging. The story truly captures the heart of love and romance. Overpowering, all consuming, wonderful, and delicate, yet at the same time able to destroy and devastate.

The narration is excellent as well.

This was a bittersweet listen about being a queer woman in the 1950's. It was an easy listen and I swooned over the yearning, but I just wanted to know more about the main character. Her personality is that she loves Carol and I had a hard time connecting with her because of that. Overall, I enjoyed this classic and look forward to watching the movie.
