À propos de cet audio
The bestselling phenomenon from Japan, with irresistible appeal to fans of Marie Kondo, that argues there is happiness in a minimalist life
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo―he’s just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn’t absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.
In Goodbye, Things, Sasaki modestly shares his personal minimalist experience, offering specific tips on the minimizing process and revealing how the new minimalist movement can not only transform your space but truly enrich your life. The benefits of a minimalist life can be realized by anyone, and Sasaki’s humble vision of true happiness will open your eyes to minimalism’s potential.

Fumio Sasaki changed his life when he became a minimalist. But before minimalism could really stick, he had to make it a habit. All of us live our lives based on the habits we’ve formed, from when we get up in the morning to what we eat and drink to how likely we are to actually make it to the gym. In Hello, Habits, Sasaki explains how we can acquire the new habits that we want - and get rid of the ones that don’t do us any good.

Goodbye things helped me get rid of my things

The reason I took away one star was because near the end of the book I was getting a bit frustrated, asking "well, what DO you do?". However, he did sum it up nicely by saying, and I'm paraphrasing, "minimalism is different for everyone. You need to find what works for you".
Overall, it's definitely worth the read. It makes you think about your possessions, and give you a positive outlook on things you can change to make your life easier.

Excellent book, very practical. Well read.

I am currently listening to his other book, "Hello, Habits" which is also a really great book. He again follows the same formula: talk and recap at the end of the chapter. It just reinforces key points you need.
I listened to this book for free as it's in the "Included" library, but I will definitely buy the book because it's one that I will listen to again. I found it so interesting, I listened to it in one afternoon.
Yes, I do recommend this book to any one who wants to learn more about Minimalism.
Brilliant introduction to minimalism
