Description

In the first book, Hadjar lost it all. His body ruined, parents dead, and his title of Prince replaced by a slave collar. It seemed like Primus had deprived him of everything.

But no one can take away a man's will to fight. Even if his heart turns into a bleeding stone due to endless grief and suffering, it won't matter. The most important thing was that he still had the will to go on. The thought of taking revenge on his family's murderers gave him the strength to survive.

After receiving a piece of the mighty Dragon's heart, he regained his strength and enlisted in the army, where he made real friends and fought by their side in many battles. He started harnessing his new power and acquiring great knowledge.

Hadjar has already had many adventures, but this is only the beginning of his great journey, full of magical mysteries, palace intrigues, epic battles, tempestuous love and the cultivation of his power...

Another spoiled child with power!

So, I gave book one a try and said well, let’s see about book 2, but this is just another spoiled child prince with power. Here is why I said that, Hadjar the main character only cares about his main friends, I say this because he refuses to use his power to fight the white apes, which caused four of his men to die because he wanted to test himself. He continued to allow his men to die because of his own revenge, just to gain a foothold, but why not to him they’re just disposable pieces.
The story then continues to put Hadjar into impossible situations, where only he can overcome. It continues allowing all of the main characters like his witch girlfriend to survive as well, which was seen from her surviving a cut to the neck from an assassin, yeah right. I like an impossible story as much as the next guy, but this was just too much for me. He also can only see the revenge and speaks only about it as he sees all those around himself as tools to reach that revenge, no matter how it may seem it always comes back to the revenge only. Not for me, story needs more substance than just, “my throne was taken, must get revenge."

Suspension of Disbelief much?

I’m sure other people may be able to enjoy this product, but for myself it’s seems way to extravagant. People don’t act like actual humans, and the main character is constantly encountering situations where he solves them in a very “heroic” manner, instead of how the person his is made out to be would have

Another Great book in the series

I really love these books. They are very well done. Almost none stop action. These books are bloody heart wrenching and deep. I cant wait for the next one to come out.

Starts OK

I liked the first one but could not even finish this. It seems the author loses his way while telling the story.

Pandering

The author over-explains and uses super basic logic that overrides the MC's personality and intelligence to pander about morality when it's convenient to making it harder for the MC. It's annoying, common, and should be pointed out when the author looks for hamper the MC JUST for conflict. And the author likes to stretch out parts and fail at sounding deep and artistic. Seriously there is a lot of story to get through and I would really like to continue with the actual story.
