Description

In the tradition of Carl Sagan, Rachel Carson, and Stephen Hawking, a new voice has emerged with the unique gift of translating cutting-edge science into clear, accessible language: Dr. Bruce Lipton.

With The Wisdom of Your Cells, this internationally recognized authority on cellular biology takes listeners on an in-depth exploration into the microscopic world, where new discoveries and research are revolutionizing the way we understand life, evolution, and consciousness.

In this full-length audio course, Dr. Lipton shares his lucid and startling insights about the building blocks of life, and how each one of our cells has far greater innate intelligence than we once believed.

tRNA to my mRNA

This book made me fall in love with the study of epigenetics. Dr. Bruce Lipton has to be my favorite author. I am a college student with a basic knowledge of Biology and I can understand this book well. This book has brewed a storm in my brain and I am now going to university to study Molecular Biology.

everyone needs to hear Bruce's message.

this an incredible account of cellular life, and the following human/animal life and eventual earth life. the perspectives Bruce talks about resonate with the depth of humanity and definitely has shifted my view of life, relationships, health and evolution.
if you like the sample, get this and share what you hear. Bruce is onto something here.

Reading

I love the way this book was read. The cadence, the excitement, pausing and giving time for the listener to register what was said.

Love this "new" biology

Insightful, this new science is envigorating and more, although not completely, aligned with my view of the world as a Christian scientist.

I recommend this "book" to anyone who finds that the flaws in the Darwinist theory too great to be the biology of this millennia

Great background info

Love the bio explanation of our beliefs. The one thing I was left wondering is how to change our cells to reflect the beliefs & behaviours we desire.

Are you kidding me?

this isn't even a science book. it's a guy who's trying to rationalize his religion and the workings of a cell. Don'tt waste your money.

Reassess Life In General

Understand the world around you by seeing the connection between all living beings and how the environment and its balance is responsible for our state of existence as well as our planet's.

See the similarities of our interactions as organisms on Earth with the trillions of cells that form us as individuals.

We have the need to have healthy productive ecosystems inside and out, lest we end up like those before us who could not adapt and were rooted out of existence.

A hard won account of truth telling

Thank you for this excellent and very useful insight into how the mind works. It is not only in line with contemporary science, but also with ancient Buddhism.

The Ultimate mind-expanding book.

Dr. Lipton has profoundly changed my understanding of my biology and how to influence it in a positive way. After years of teaching his theories and practical applications, he makes his point with precise words and through an empowering story filled with hope for the future of mankind.

If you are Stuck in your life...Listen to this!

At first it was a little dry...but VERY interesting and I couldn't stop listening because it was so interesting. I am so glad I kept listening! If you are stuck in an unwanted mindset, you want clarity for onset of sicknesses and (with the necessary work)how to reverse it, or you really want to move past something negative in your life and you've done all you knew to do...listening to this tells you how you got there, why it's there, and how to get unstuck...Get this book, mash play, and listen until the end. It will get you unstuck!

A Masterpiece

It is understandable that this audiobook should have both passionate positive and negative reviews: it offers a genial new interpretation of biology, evolution and history, with ramifications into medicine and psychology.

An earlier reviewer remarked the ideas contained here would never be published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Indeed! - these journals do not publish personal interpretaions. A book (or in this case, an audiobook), and not a peer-reviewed journal, is the perfect medium for this kind of work.

I am an M.D., I was marveled by this work and highly recomend it to everyone.

This book is EXCELLENT!

Since the negative review writers here boast that they have their PhDs, I will mention my creds. I have a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Public Health. I'll get my PhD in a science, which in my view is not a huge deal!
Bruce Lipton is amazing to me. This book really explains why the medical establishment has no idea how so many of our illnesses are caused. If you don't know what I am talking about, just sign up for some Anatomy & Physiology classes at your local community college. Take Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Microbiology. Discover that professors all around the country, including medical school professors, are teaching this dis-ease and that dis-ease, but when they address the cause, they teach "We don't know what turns the genes on!" Bruce Lipton offers the brilliant idea that the internal environment and our perceptions (stress, fear, worry, etc.) are what determines what genes are turned on, and thus what proteins are made, which determines function. His idea that the cell membrane is more analogous to the brain and the nucleus is more analogous to the gonads is truly a ingenius paradigm shift! A brilliant read! Loved every word of it!

Wonderful

I really enjoyed this Audiobook. I'm a nurse and I've always wondered why some people get sick and others don't. Some eat well, excercise and do all that stuff right and have a heart attack while smokers and junk food eaters do fine. Of course, that's not always the case but this book explains why it can be the case. Shows how powerful stress is in our bodies and how our fear based society contributes to so much disease.

I definitely see why the pharmaceutical companies wouldn't like this book as it shows your belief in medicine is more important than the medicine itself. As a nurse I've witnessed this first hand.

This is a wonderful book and recommend it to anyone with an open mind.

Its not just about the book or the author. Its more about the reader/listeners perception.

I have read many books on this context and I have to say the breakdown that is presented here is one of the best . I have read all the reviews here and see where a lot of the people who wrote a negative review are hard core by the book science believers, even though some do have open minds and can relate and some who have no background in science don't seem to see the connective bridge. As for me, I livebthe connection and the explanations and concepts that even though there is no proven fact in some I of it as of yet, you have too have an open mind. And to some out there the world is not flat!

Science?

The presentation was similar to sitting in a lecture hall for 9 hours, so I had to take it in small chunks. His ideas ranged from interesting extrapolations from scientific information to wild and prophecy-like. Helped me see science in a new way, but I had to maintain a fair amount of skepticism because I don't have access to the references he used and he jumps to conclusions very quickly- often too quickly.

Brilliant teacher

I found the material to be riveting and the presentation to be easy to follow and logical. Dr. Lipton is able to simplify complex ideas and summarize along the way so the listener does not get lost. I am very glad I purchased this and will look for other material by him.

Intriguing ideas, enthusiastic speaker

If what Lipton says is true, and one should be able to check the facts, his ideas here are intriguing and they could possibly change the way you look at life. I am one-third the way through the book and only stopped because I had to go to work--I find it very compelling listening. Some of his ideas thus far resonate with spiritual ideas of William James, another scientist who valued spiritual experience. Other ideas remind me of what little I know about quantum science and how it also supports a spiritual interpretation of the universe, at least somewhat. The first ten minutes of the book grabbed me and would not let go...

I highly recommend!!! Awesome way to understand how the world works and your part in it.

I loved this audiobook! But you have to keep an open mind, some of the stuff in this audiobook may sound absolutely crazy to some and makes perfect sense to others. I am so glad I came across this, hopefully you will too. :)

Super Thought Provoking

The first 3 chapters lay the groundwork for science laymen, such as myself, to follow along his line of thought until the end. I am thankful for the time taken to lay this foundation and am dissapointed this is in the sudo science category. The only negative for me is that the groundwork branches off into three different aspects but the book seems as if it was shortened for the masses to digest. The last chapter left me ready to go more in depth but sadly was the end. So I guess my only complaint is I want more.
