More like those old school dark horse novels

Great continuation! It's great when books are willing to kill off characters right when you think they are okay.

Well developed and balanced characters. A good look into the Alien and Predator universe. A must read.

The alien/human/predator war continues

The 2nd installment of the rage war continues to develop the various relationships between the allies as well as reveals more of the rage and their methods, and purpose. The story is well written and the tale has a lot of depth. I have a four on the story only because of the fact that if you have read the other alien and predator books that have been printed before you will see a very large difference in the level of action as well as the variance in strength and skill of the various species between this series and the other stories.

wrong narrator hired. ..

narrator's voice portrayed strong male characters with an effeminate taint. ..this was annoying and distracting

A good Aliens-universe story

I have really enjoyed the Rage War books and am about to start the third in the series. Lebbon does some interesting things with the Aliens universe, bringing in new ideas to the old "the company wants the bugs" formula. I'd say these are the first stories from this universe I have really liked since the second film.

Good action and some creepy speculative fiction, especially with the strangeness of faster than light travel and, of course, the xenomorphs.

Not as good as book one

Becoming a fan of Tim’s work i found this one less enjoyable than the others

Much darker and deeper than the first book if this series. Kept bouncing between places sort of took some of the enjoyment out of it

Hope book 3 is better

Just never grabbed me

I love the story line of books that involve aliens vs. the predators, but this book just never grabbed me. I was never excited to listen to it and constantly felt myself drifting off and not paying attention. The performance didn't feel like it was bad, and trying to look objectively at the story it didn't seem bad either, but somehow putting them together just wasn't very good. I struggled a little with the first one as well, so unless you really loved that one I wouldn't recommend this one.
