With nowhere else to send her, the Nylands reluctantly agree to let Hannah stay with them until she can find a new home after the Christmas holidays. But Hannah proves to be more balm than burden, and the Nylands discover that the only thing harder than taking Hannah in may be letting her go.

Amazing story!
This story had me from the moment I started listening to it. It’s beautifully written and thoughtfully narrated. There are strong characters and you’re rooting for every single one of them. Highly recommend this book.

Loved it.
This isn’t usually the kind if book I like to read. Figured I would try something a bit different and I absolutely loved this book. Every character is so well described, the story is incredibly touching and beautifully written.

Heartwarming Christmas story
So pleased with this free audible title. It kept my attention right from the beginning and was a very heart warming story about the holidays to get you into the spirit of the season and thinking about family and the things that really matter. Loved it!

Absolutely Stellar
Wow, I wasn’t expecting to be so swept away. Rich characters full of life and so real. Beautiful writing. Can’t say enough about how this author captured all the flaws and faults and lives of the characters. I really needed this. And I loved the Canadiana.

Great narration for a lovely story.
A lovely story that blends healing and hope. It could have expanded on what happened to the step father. I would have liked to know he was arrested.

Lovely story I could not put down.
A heart warming story that was a pleasure to listen to. Overall uplifting. I will look for another book by this author. Great listen, the narrators were very good, perfect fit for the story.
