The story line itself wasn’t bad and I had no issues with the narrator. What I did have an issue with was the constant inner thoughts of both leading characters. Once it became a romance the ruminating of what they’d done and what they were going to do with each other along with what they were actually doing, distracted from the story and I found myself skipping to the next chapter repeatedly. That was too much. Admittedly, I did stick with it because I wanted to know the ending but it would have been a short story without all the distraction. Neutral on recommend.
